What I Did Last Challenge

Hey Gents--
Sorry for the delay, but here you go, anyway. Linky linky to the hot stuff.
Copy and paste this until I figure out how to hyperlink, I'm drunk.

Six Days and Counting

Christmas for the drinking class is just 6 days away.
Here's your final update on next weekend's activities.
The undergrads have ordered shirts. Rather than collecting pre-orders, they ordered a set quantity so there will be a limited number. They ordered a lot, though, so I wouldn't worry too much. Plan on $15/shirt.
I told you that we'd have a stretch limo, but that fell through. We'll have a stretch Durango instead. Why this company felt the need to have a stretch Durango made I don't know, but it'll work for us. It'll run from 10 PM - 3 AM on both Friday and Saturday nights. This leaves ABSOLUTELY NO REASON for anyone to drive drunk. Don't ruin your Challenge - or worse yet someone else's - by doing something stupid. Take the Durango!
I am currently finalizing the judging panel for the mustache competition. How is your's coming in?
Look for preliminary nickname voting soon, too.
We currently stand at 147 confirmed brothers attending.
I think this might be fun.

See ya at the Challenge!

One More Thing

The cost for the weekend will be $40. I will be collecting money on Saturday at the gig and not in advance. This includes everything EXCEPT t-shirts at this point. I'll get back to you on shirts as I have the info. There will likely be a nominal additional charge for them if we're doing shirts.

Coba Relief Fund

To everyone who has not already been invited:

We are currently working on a philanthropy event in conjunction with Anthropology professor Ellen Kintz. This is an ambitious event that was made possible by Brother Clint DeVinney. If everyone in this group could join our facebook group for the event it would be very much appreciated. We are trying to gather as much attention as possible for our fundraiser, which is aimed at helping to alleviate poverty in Coba, Quintana Roo, Mexico. The link to the group is: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1314212829#/group.php?gid=48482602689

We promise not to spam your facebook with messages, but can promise to
,drunkenly, hit you up for donations at the upcoming challenge (for a good cause). We hope to make this fundraiser as successful as possible and hope to build the bridge beyond Omega and extended it to those less fortunate than ourselves.

Your support is welcomed and appreciated,

-Undergrads

Challenge Schedule: BUMPED

Here's what's planned so far:
Thursday Night - Free Style; the boys may be having a throwdown at the house. They'll let us know if that's going to be the case.
Friday Noon - Keg(s) at the Idle Hour. Your first stop upon arriving, as usual.
Friday Night - Party at the house with the DPhiEs. Let's hope Shannon McCabe is NOT there.
Saturday 8 AM - Kelly's.
Saturday 9 AM - When Kelly's may actually open these days. If so, don't fret. Kurps and a small cadre of others will be sitting outside waiting, starting promptly at 8 AM.
Saturday Afternoon - Back to the IB. Basher has graciously agreed to take us back after a 1-year hiatus. Here's the deal:
- Lunch from the Dinosaur BBQ around 2 PM
- Mustache competition judging 3 PM
- Nickname voting throughout the day

- Gaming throughout the day

- General dipsomania resulting in prolix oratory throughout the day

Saturday Night - Party with the PhiLambs, site TBD
Sunday morning - brunch at the Statesman (with food and everything!)

I'm working on transportation now. Hope to have something nailed down by early next week. I think we can swing it.

More details as they become available (party schedule, lunch menu, definitions for "dipsomania" and "prolix").

Below is a list of confirmed attendees thus far. I know it's not everyone, so if you know others that will be there who don't appear here please let me know.
